Devon Cottage
This home has been transformed from a tired looking space with black doors, stained orange beams, turquoise walls, copious amounts of orange pine, a leaking shower room and a delightful avocado bathroom with dodgy plumbing and a sink you could pull off the wall!
The colour palette is now gentle and flows from room to room with the odd pop of colour from the soft furnishings. Windows were added, an empty adjoining barn was transformed into a light filled Garden room and a built-in boot room transformed the entrance hall.
New painted shiplap on the sitting room walls creates interest, the lack of storage and good lighting have been addressed and natural flooring has been laid throughout. It’s now a warm and inviting family home which works brilliantly and gives so much pleasure every day.
